Qestmed has a complete business infra-structure based at Fourways in Johannesburg and this includes a national pharmaceutical and surgical logistics centre. The centre provides both bulk and fine distribution services to the Private and State sectors. Fourways is regarded as the fastest growing area in the Southern African Continent. The company is situated close to the N1 freeway and within a few kilometers away from the major “Western-Bypass”, an interchange that allows for an easy change in travel direction to many of the major city centers in the province of Johannesburg International Airport.
The Company has a flat organizational structure that is driven by an “immediate” management team, lead by its CEO. This allows for a complete “hands on” approach and therefore speedy decision making processes that clearly gives the Company the edge from the normal large corporate approach.
Qestmed has a fully licensed logistics facility on site together with the Company’s administration offices. This allows for all operational functions to have dat-to-day involvement and interaction from the Group’s management team. Qestmed has its’ own fleet of delivery vehices. For areas outside the greater Gauteng region, it has partnered with specific outsourced courier services. Qestmed also has bulk storage facilities in Germiston; Kwa Zulu Natal and the Western Cape.
As an ongoing exercise, Qestmed reviews its infra-structure to allow it to change with the market changes and thereby continues to effciently service our ever-changing health-care market.
The Company boasts a very effient and organized administration and finance division that provides solid backing and back-office support services to the group companies. High standard and tight financial controls maintained by the department have been largely responsible for the Group being able to weather the changes in the market and the Group’s growth to date.
